Good communication and interaction is essential for a thriving community. The Providence Hills Community Association (PHCA) encourages communication through several vehicles:

• Community e-mail link – Residents who sign up with receive regular e-mail mail messages of importance and interest to the community. These messages, usually sent once or twice a month, will also be posted on the web site.
   

• Monthly newsletter – Providence Hills neighbors put together a monthly newsletter filled with board actions and news, activities, a calendar of events and other things of interest to residents.
   

•  Message boards – Three message boards, one at each entrance and one in front of the clubhouse, are maintained by the PHCA. News important to all homeowners is included on these message boards.
   

• Neighborhood watch – The Providence Hills community is a member of the Mecklenburg County Community Watch Association. Neighbors keep close track of activities in the community and report suspicious people or activities to law enforcement officials.
